
刘星,二级研究员、课题组长、博士生导师,免疫应答与免疫治疗全国重点实验室课题组负责人,尚思探索学者,国家杰青。2012年毕业于中国科学院生物化学与细胞生物学研究所,获得博士学位;2012-2013年留所进行博士后研究;2014年加入美国哈佛大学医学院分子医学免疫系,师从系主任、美国科学院/医学院/理学院三院院士Judy Lieberman教授进行博士后研究(获美国Charles A King Fellowship资助);2016年晋升哈佛大学医学院讲师和Research Associate;2018年起担任研究所研究员,博士生导师,抗感染免疫与免疫疾病研究组组长。迄今为止,在所属研究领域取得诸多重要原创性成果,发表高水平SCI学术论文40余篇,累计影响因子> 1000;他引1.2万余次,入选全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单以及爱思唯尔中国高被引学者;近5年关键研究成果以通讯或共同通讯作者身份发表于Nature, Science, Immunity, Nature Immunology, PNAS, Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology, Nature Reviews Drug Discovery, Annual Review of Immunology等学术期刊。
实验室长期致力于病原体感染致病机理以及机体抗感染免疫防御应答机制研究,首次发现并报道新型机体抵抗化脓链球菌(Nature, 2022)及耶尔森菌(Science, 2021)等病原菌感染的关键免疫应答机制;首次揭示致命性脓毒症(感染所致机体免疫失调综合征)发生发展过程中关键调控分子触发细胞焦亡及机体应答新机制(Immunity,2023; PNAS, 2025),并通过高通量化合物文库筛选获得临床可用于脓毒症治疗的有效先导药物(Nature Immunology, 2020; PNAS, 2023)。以上成果极大拓展了机体抗感染领域认知,并为相关感染疾病如鼠疫、丹毒及脓毒症治疗提供了新的药物靶点和治疗策略,兼具重要理论创新突破和临床应用价值。
